Magician legspinner while breaking every set of records

A Swabi born Pakistani test cricketer, Yasir Shah is a specialist legspinner known for his googlies, flippers and leg spin. He is regarded as one of the best legspinner at present time by considering his performances in test cricket.

Yasir Shah played for various sides in domestic tournaments including Sui northern gas limited, Abbottabad Rhinos, Pakistan A as well as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cricket. He also played for Australian domestic league, Big Bash league representing Brisbane heat. Yasir made his test debut on 22nd of October back in 2014 against Australia in the United Arab Emirates when he was luckily picked in place of Saeed Ajmal who was banned for his illegal bowling action. He made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe way back in 2011 where he picked 2/51 in 10 overs. Yasir becomes a star over his test performance where he breaks every record which was looking difficult to break.

in the first test of his career, he picked up seven wickets and helped Pakistan to win the match by 221 runs. In the second test, Yasir made a special mark by picking up 5 wickets helped Pakistan to win by 356 runs and whitewashed the series against mighty Australians. He didn’t stop there and moved forward while shattering each and every record on its way.

In June 2015, Yasir broke the record of Waqar younis, Muhammad Asif and Shabbir Ahmad who were fastest to 50 wickets by a Pakistani while becoming the 5th overall fastest.

In June 2016, Shah also becomes second Pakistani after Mushtaq Ahmad (1996) to pick up a fifer at lords. He is also the highest wicket-taker at lords among Asian bowlers in a single match. At the end of the test series in England. he became No.1 test bowler on ICC test chart, as he was the only legspinner overall after Shane Warne to gain a no1 spot in test ranking who actually got in 2005 while after Mushtaq Ahmad among Pakistani.

Against west indies in Dubai, in his 17th test match, Yasir Shah became the second fastest to take 100 wickets overall and quickest among the Pakistani. He is also second joint fastest to 150 wickets among bowlers and quickest among spinners overall.
